Jeff McCullough Memorial Challenge Cup

The Jeffrey J. McCullough Memorial Challenge Cup Came into existence in 1998. It is presented annually to the winner of each season’s second Big North Conference hockey game between Traverse City Central and Traverse City West.

This trophy honors the memory of Jeff McCullough who was a three-year varsity hockey letter winner at Traverse City Central. On October 15, 1996 just weeks into his Senior year, Jeff lost a courageous battle with cancer. His #14 jersey has been retired from the Traverse City Central hockey program and is proudly displayed in the lobby at Howe Arena.
